As part of an open science approach, the ISSA project focuses on the semantic indexing of scientific publications in an open archive and the exploitation of this indexing to develop services for researchers and librarians.
Agritrop, Cirad's open publications archive, will serve as a use case and proof of concept throughout the project. The semantic resources will primarily be the Agrovoc thesaurus, the Wikidata collaborative knowledge base and the gazetteer GeoNames.
